Trees Down, Unionville Pike Closed In Hatfield

HATFIELD, PA — The storm brought trees down on Unionville Pike Wednesday afternoon, leading the road to be shut down, authorities said.

The closure is in place between North Penn Road and Bethlehem Pike, and impacts both directions.

Motorists should avoid the area and plan for delays as they seek alternate routes.

Nearby, a traffic signal has gone out on Bethlehem Pike and Line Lexington Road. The road is not closed, but drivers should proceed with extreme caution.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect in the area through 9 p.m.
