UPPER GWYNEDD, PA — Normally docile streams were anything but after heavy rains whipped through the region Monday morning.
In Upper Gwynedd, local police captured the video below of a run under Sumneytown Pike, just east of Valley Forge Road and near the Wissahickon.
The swollen stream was roaring through its narrow channel, spilling over its banks and coming close to dumping onto Sumneytown Pike.

Dozens of water rescues took place across Montgomery County Monday as cars became stuck in the floodwaters.
