LANSDALE, PA — There's a new flashing yellow turn signal on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Lansdale, and it's left some local area residents confused.

Fortunately, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has issued an instructional video explaining what it means for drivers, and what you should do if you see it.

"A flashing yellow means that turns are permitted, but you must first yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians," the video explains.

When the yellow turn signal is flashing, it means that opposing traffic has a green light, so you should always proceed with caution.
