Young Hatfield Actor Ogres-Out in 'Shrek the Musical'

Danny Hernandez is going green for the holidays in Shrek the Musical at the Walnut Street Theatre - playing now through January 5.

Based on the DreamWorks film, Shrek The Musical is the story of a reclusive ogre who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey and a feisty princess. Complete with new songs and an outrageous cast of fairy tale characters, this hilarious musical is entertainment for children and adults alike.

Danny Hernandez is thrilled to make his Walnut debut in Shrek the Musical as a member of the children’s ensemble. Danny’s favorite roles thus far include Olaf in Frozen Jr., the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, Aladdin in Aladdin Jr., and Romeo in Newsies. Outside of theatre, Danny enjoys hockey, tutoring children and puzzles.
