Three Bucks Towns Ranked Among Wealthiest ZIP Codes in the Region

Washington Crossing, Jamison and Richboro are among the most wealthy ZIP codes in the region, the Philadelphia Business Journal says.

The Philadelphia Business Journal has ranked the region’s top 15 wealthiest ZIP codes and three Bucks County towns have made the list.

The list uses Esri’s Wealth Rank, which factors population, average household income, average net worth and average disposable income, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Washington Crossing, a ZIP code in Upper Makefield, was ranked as the region’s fourth wealthiest community. According to figures from the Philadelphia Business Journal, the average household income in Washington Crossing is $189,122. The average home value is $642,621.

Jamison, a town in Warwick Township, was ranked at number nine. There, the Philadelphia Business Journal estimates the average household income is $158,177. The average house value in Jamison is $453,407.

Coming in at 13 was Richboro, a community in Northampton Township. The average household income in Richboro is estimated at $146,249 and the average home value is $453,506.

The wealthiest community in the Philadelphia region, according to the Business Journal’s list, is Villanova. There, the average household income is more than $212,000 a year and home prices are more than $950,000 on average.
