3 Teens, 2 Adults Charged In Limerick Area Thefts From Vehicles

Several arrests were made following a rash of thefts around the Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove area in October.

LIMERICK, PA — Five suspects have been taken into custody following a rash of thefts from vehicles around the Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove areas.

Police announced that three teenagers and two adults had been charged.

The thefts occurred in residential neighborhoods between Oct. 3 and Oct. 9. Thieves targeted numerous items, including money, phones, electronics, and even guns.

The resulting investigation led police to the suspects. The identities of the adults were not released by authorities. Both the Lansdale and Lower Pottsgrove police departments assisted in the case.

Notably, the stolen guns were recovered by police.

Police thanked the public for their help, as well.

"Thank you to everyone for remaining patient and affording us time to investigate all leads. We often refrain from answering specific comments and from updating the post out of respect for our victims and to prevent those responsible from knowing our progress."
