Pope John Paul II High School's students have been working on their spring production for months, and it opens on Friday March 8 for six performances. 

The musical, a production of the Disney Broadway musical, includes lots of familiar characters - and even some dancing sugar cubes. 

The twelve main roles are double-cast, and the actors will alternate nights.

The drama department has built an impressive set, with the Beast's castle, Belle's home and the local tavern all represented. 

The musical is directed by music teacher Marusia Lynn.
