Dickey's Celebrates Grand Opening with Special Guests

The line stretched out the door for most of the lunch hour.

One dollar for pulled pork sandwiches and barbecue cookbook giveaways drew a large crowd to Dickey's Barbecue Pit on Lewis Road Friday as they celebrated their grand opening.

Radio station personality Andi Summers and her co-workers from WXTU 92.5 was there to hand out magents and stickers and give away tickets to see Montgomery Gentry next week.

Company chairman Roland Dickey also visited the store from Dallas, Texas, where it was most certainly much warmer than the 40-degree temperatures.

Three people also won a year's worth of barbecue - one voucher per week for a free meal, for 52 weeks.
