Police visited two Spring-Ford schools to investigate on Wednesday.

Spring-Ford school district officials said Wednesday the rumor of a plot to carry out some kind of attack at Spring-Ford Area High School was "groundless," following an investigation by police and district staff.
A district spokesperson said Dr. David Goodin and administrators, along with Upper Providence Township police, had been at the 9th Grade Center and the 10th-12th Grade Center on Wednesday to investigate the rumor.Â
