Driver Jailed for Swamp Pike Crash that Injured Exeter Man
The Birdsboro woman admitted to being high when she crashed her car on Swamp Pike in July 2012.

A Norristown resident was sentenced on May 3 to 14 to 59 months in jail and five years' probation at the conclusion of proceedings stemming from a July 2012 crash in Limerick Township.Â
Arrison Renee Bunner, 22, pleaded guilty in February to aggravated assault by a vehicle. Bunner confessed to taking "speed" at midnight the night before the crash and told police that, while she thought she was trying to avoid an animal when she crashed, she wasn't sure if she had hallucinated the animal.
Brian Blackwell, the car's passenger, sustained serious injuries in the crash. According to an article in the Pottstown Mercury, Blackwell "cannot walk and remains in a rehabilitation hospital, confined to a wheelchair, undergoing speech, physical and occupational therapy after suffering a traumatic brain injury."
