Earth Day Farmers' Market to be Held Sunday

Monday April 22nd is the official Earth Day date, but Limerick Township Parks and Recreation is getting a jumpm on the day by hosting a Farmers' Market and Earth Day Celebration on Sunday the 21st. 

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Limerick Community Park. There will be an Environmental Expo area where representatives from several environmentally-friendly companies and organizations will be set up.

There will also be a farmers' market featuring local businesses, selling produce, bread, handmade gifts such as jewelry and pottery, and much more. 

The event is sponsored by Limerick Township Parks and Recreation, Senator John Rafferty and Sawchuk's Garage.
