Ice for Autism Raises $11,000

The event at two Rita's Water ice locations benefits special education and support programs for Spring-Ford students with autism.

Rita's Water Ice owners Bev and Greg McNutt presented Spring-Ford Area School District with a check for $11,824.40 collected during this year's Rita's Ice for Autism events. 

According to a post on the district's Facebook page, the funds have been used to purchase iPads, apps, and sensory equipment for students throughout the district.
