Lady Rams Win State Title, Celebrate in Style
The Spring-Ford girls basketball team got a fire truck escort and celebrated at the Royersford Applebee's on Friday night after its historic win.
When the Spring-Ford girls basketball team arrived home after its 60-45 victory over Cumberland Valley in the state title game, the girls got a huge surprise.Â
Seven fire companies met the team buses on Township Line Road at the Kohl's parking lot and gave them a rousing escort to the high school.Â
The girls then arrived at the Applebee's in Royersford, where general manager Todd Naiko and his team decked out the restaurant in blue and gold streamers and painted the windows.Â
