Limerick Fire Department Carnival Returns May 13-22

Big Daddy and the Fender Benders will help Limerick have some fun Friday night as the Limerick Fire Department Carnival returns.

LIMERICK TOWNSHIP, PA — It starts Thursday evening, and masks are still required but the Limerick Fire Department Carnival is on, opening May 13 at 6 p.m. and on Friday welcoming Big Daddy and the Fender Benders.

The Beer Garden opens May 13 at 6 p.m. along with rides, games, food, and other attractions.

Guests Friday night, May 14, in the Beer Garden are "Legend from Limerick," Big Daddy and The Fender Benders Band.

On Saturday night Shot of Southern will bring the entertainment. Also happening Saturday, May 15, starting at 5 p.m., is the Ax Throwing Tournament, sponsored by Angry Jack's Throwing Club.

The May 13-22 carnival opens on weekdays at 6 p.m. and weekends at 4 p.m.

The final weekend's entertainment includes Rhodes Less Traveledon Friday, May 21 in the Beer Garden, and The Loop on May 22.

The Limerick Fire Department said, "per the CDC, please remember to social distance and wear a face covering. If you are sick or feeling ill please stay home."

Also, the LFD 22nd annual Golf Outing is planned for June 2 at Turtle Creek Golf Course from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Registration and other information can be found here.
