Limerick Singer/Songwriter debuts first EP

January 9, 2021--Hayley Roberts, 17, a junior at Spring-Ford HS, has aspirations of being a professional singer/songwriter and her journey began this year. Her first EP, a collection of 5 original pop songs, recorded at Chaplin’s in Spring City, was released on January 8th to all music outlets. Hayley has already released two singles on Spotify and other music outlets this past summer. Me and Only Me, her first song co-written and produced by Grammy award winning songwriters, Anna Wilson and Monty Powell was released in July, followed quickly by her next ballad, Wonder. Wonder is a ballad artistically created by Hayley and her musical mentor and teacher, Ryan Leaver.

In her newest EP, Adventure Awaits, Hayley wrote all 5 songs were solely which showcase her artistic endeavors in the world of contemporary pop music. In the stylings of a Taylor Swift, Hayley is looking to bring a positive vibe to pop music with an upbeat rhythm. Her new album is themed around mini adventures and even virtual adventures she retreated to in this pandemic time. She has spent the last 8 months writing new material, recording these songs and learning about the music business. Her producer, Christopher Cachuela, has mastered this collection to bring out Hayley’s vocal talent and the musical nuances in her songs.

Hayley is active in her school choirs and the school musical when school is in session. She has entered a variety of 2021 song contests in hope that she can get her music in front of new audiences and A & R industry people. She continues to write and develop her talents and hopes to create new music for playing locally soon.
