Dressler Ousted in Primary by Spletzer

Low voter turnout seemed to be common in the Spring-Ford area on Tuesday. Only 9 percent of registered voters turned out county-wide.

However, even with the low turnout, there was at least one surprise in the race for school board seats.

Long-time board member Edward Dressler, representing Region I, was ousted by voters, who chose newcomer Kelly Spletzer on both party ballots.
