Meet Royersford's Fence-Building, Tomato-Growing Renaissance Man
Royersford's Joe Moskal has used social media to help build both of his Royersford businesses.
ROYERSFORD, PENNSYLVANIA — Building fences and growing tomatoes might not seem to have a lot in common, but Royersford’s Joe Moskal has mastered both enterprises.
“We don’t have any employees for the Tomato and Vegetable Company. It’s myself, really,” Moskal told Patch Wednesday morning.
Moskal’s partner at Royersford Fence Company is Brian Karpinecz and together they’ve built between 70 to 100 fences over the past six years.

Moskal explained that Royersford Fence Company has built their reputation on the idea that people want to meet the person who is actually going to build their fence.
“There’s cedar, spruce, pressure treated varieties, composite,” Moskal said, describing the different types of wood available to customers.

The biggest customer for Moskal’s tomatoes is the Railroad Street Bar & Grill in Linfield.
A father of five children, Moskal uses Facebook to help grow both of his businesses, and explained that even a $30 Facebook campaign more than pays for itself with all of the business he’s gotten from social media.
