Road Barriers Run Down, Portable Toilet Toppled In Royersford
A driver plowed through barriers Sunday night, knocked over a portable toilet, then struck another vehicle Sunday night in Royersford.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A vehicle crashed through road closure barriers and knocked over a portable toilet Sunday night, before it driver took off and struck another vehicle in Royersford.
Royersford Fire Department reported they and Liberty Fire Company were on the way to the intersection of Second Avenue and Springertown Road in Upper Providence Township around 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a reported vehicle fire, when the runaway vehicle events happened.
"As crews arrived they discovered a more dynamic situation," Royersford Fire Company reported.

Officials said a vehicle crashed through the road closure at Second Avenue and Hafner Road, striking signs and knocking over a portable toilet there, then left the damaged toilet, heading north on Second Avenue towards Royersford.
While headed into the borough, it struck another vehicle at the intersection fire teams had been sent to, fire officials said. The crew on scene immediately checked to see if anyone involved in the crash required EMS care.
