Royersford Borough Announces Snow Emergency

The snow emergency will be in place beginning at 10 p.m. tonight. No parking on designated streets.

ROYERSFORD, PA — The borough of Royersford has announced a snow emergency will be in place starting at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20. Residents cannot park on designated streets during a snow emergency to allow plows to come through.

Parking will be prohibited along all snow emergency routes, and vehicles could be ticketed or towed in order to make room for snow plows. Roads along this route in Royersford include Main Street, the odd side of 2nd Avenue, Walnut Street on the 800 and 900 blocks, Washington Street on the even side, 5th Ave from Limerick line to Upper Providence line at Green Street on the west side, 2nd Ave from Main Street to the Upper Providence line on the west side, the 300 block of Summer Street, and all cul de sacs.

The lot at Second Ave and Arch Street is open for parking if residents would like to move their vehicles there.

Any cars that are not moved from designated routes will be ticketed $50 and towed.

Property owners are also reminded to clear snow away from fire hydrants.
