Royersford, Upper Providence FD's Clear Road After Crash

A two-vehicle crash stopped traffic on Monday morning as local emergency responders aided and reopened the road.

UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — A two-vehicle accident brought traffic to a standstill Monday morning at Lewis and Yeager roads in Upper Providence Township.

Royersford Fire Department and the Upper Providence Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services said they were alerted that two vehicles had collided in Upper Providence Township.

Royersford Fire Department reported that while fire and EMS crews "mitigated hazards" traffic completely stopped. AMS personnel evaluated those involved in the accident as others controlled traffic at the intersection, officials said.

All Upper Providence Township Police Department units responded, and reopened the roadway after roughly 30 minutes, according to official reports.
