SFYAL Youth Football & Cheer Registration Opens

According to a Facebook post from Spring-Ford Youth Football and Cheerleading, registration for football and cheer teams opens on Monday, March 18 and will end on June 30, 2013.

The football and cheerleading teams, run by Spring-Ford Youth Athletic League, are split into four divisions by age. 

Flag Football is for kids from K-1st grade; Knee High Tackle Football is for 2nd and 3rd graders; Mites Football is for 4th and 5th graders; and Midgets Football is for 6th and 7th graders. 

Cheerleading teams fall into the same age divisions. The cheerleading teams have a new coach this year, Dawn Householder. 

The league is also looking for volunteers to coach teams and help with many other things the league does, including being a Team Parent, running the snack stand, maintaining the field and fundraising.
