Spring City Man Arrested for Ethnic Intimidation
The resident reportedly threatened neighbors after a disagreement.
According to a report in the Pottstown Mercury, a Spring City resident was arrested and charged with ethnic intimidation after he allegedly used racial epithets during a fight with neighbors.
Peter Borzumati, 25, reportedly began yelling at neighbors from the window of his apartment in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. Police said he then left his apartment and crossed the street.Â
Borzumati then allegedly started a fight with the residents of the house across the street. One victim was reportedly injured when he fell down and hurt his back.

Police said Borzumati threatened the victim's girlfriend with physical harm and used racial expletives toward her.
Borzumati was arrested and charged with simple assault, ethnic intimidation, harrassment and disorderly conduct. At a preliminary arraignment, Magisterial District Judge James Deangelo set bail at $10,000 with 10 percent allowed.Â

Court records show that Borzumati was cited last year with disorderly conduct.
Borzumati was unable to pay the bail amount and was remanded to Chester County Prison.
