SWAMP PIKE REOPENS

PennDOT and Montgomery County Highway Dept. have approved the opening of the new Swamp Pike connector road and roundabout. This new roadway provides a direct connection of Lewis Road and Swamp Pike and eliminates the offset intersection of these two roadways to Ridge Pike. No Limerick tax dollars were used, as 100% of the cost of this new connector road was borne solely by the developer of the Limerick Town Center. Limerick Township worked to ensure the new design will address rush hour congestion and traffic safety issues along Ridge Pike for the motoring public. We thank you for your patience over the past two months while the detour had been in place.
