Two More Honors for Girls Basketball Team

Limerick Township and the school district plan celebratory events.

The Spring-Ford Lady Rams girls basketball team continues to collect awards and recognition after their state championship win last month. 

At Tuesday's meeting, the Limerick Township Board of Supervisors plans to issue a commendation recognizing the team and their historic season. 

Monday night, the school board will vote on a resolution also honoring the team.

On Thursday, April 25th, the district is planning a dinner and celebratory program at the high school, called "An Evening with the State Champs: Sharing a Legacy".

The dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $12 per person, available at the athletic director's office.

The celebration program will start at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
