US 422 West Lanes Closing Next Week In Limerick Twp.

Look for single-lane travel on US 422 in Limerick Twp and on Troutman Road in Upper Pottsgrove Twp. due to construction.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Road repair will squeeze travel to one lane on U.S. 422 in parts of Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove townships next week. PennDOT announced westbound lane closures on a 5-mile stretch of U.S. 422 between the Royersford/Trappe and Sanatoga interchanges in Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove townships in Montgomery County. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advised travelers to allow extra time.

In addition, Troutman Road, under U.S. 422 between Ashenfelter Road and Arcola Road in Upper Pottsgrove Township, will be reduced to one lane of travel on Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for bridge reconstruction. Flaggers will assist traffic flow.

The closures are part of a two-year improvement project that includes bridge deck repairs, concrete patching, sealing and drainage improvements, adding guide rails and rumble strips, and other improvements to travel on U.S. 422, according to a PennDOT statement.
