'Vandalism' Shuts Down Skate Park In Upper Providence
Authorities closed the park after graffiti was spray painted on trash cans.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — Authorities closed a local skate park after discovering what they called vandalism on trash cans.
The incident occurred recently at the skate park at Black Rock Park in Upper Providence.
The activity seemed focused on trash cans in the park which were spray painted and adorned with numerous graffiti symbols.

"Vandalism is not tolerated and forces us to close facilities," the township's Parks and Recreation department said, noting a "zero tolerance" policy.
The township added that they are working with the police to reopen the park.
