Where To Get A Free Flu Shot In Montgomery County This Fall

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — With autumn finally here and the weather turning, it's that time of year. Find out when and where to get your free flu shot in the local area this fall.

Montgomery County is planning five more free flu shot clinics this fall.

Five clinics will be held in October, and a sixth in November.

Seasonal flu vaccine is recommended by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for everyone older than 6 months. According to the CDC, vaccination is especially important for people at higher risk of severe influenza and their close contacts, including health-care personnel and close contacts of children younger than 6 months.

Clinics will be held at the following locations:

Oct. 10, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Montgomery County Norristown Public Library, 1001 Powell Street, Norristown

Oct. 15, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Upper Merion Township Building, 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia

Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Abington Junior High School, 2056 Susquehanna Road, Abington

Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Montgomery County Community College, College Hall 144/148/151, 340 DeKalb Street, Blue Bell

Nov. 5, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, (Vote and Vax), 1000 West Main Street, Lansdale
