Campers Donate More Than $2,200 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Chesterbrook Academy campers sold lemonade and baked goods, as well as held an online donation drive to raise funds and awareness

Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Macungie recently raised more than $2,200 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research, supporting families and raising awareness to help cure childhood cancer. To raise money for the organization, campers hosted a lemonade stand and bake sale for fellow campers, families, staff and teachers, and held an online donation drive. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping children in need.
