Jessie Came Home!

The Lower Macungie pup who slipped her harness on Saturday morning, is back home, according to her owners.

The Lower Macungie Township pup who slipped her harness on Saturday morning soon after being adopted is back at home, according to her owners. They shared the good news about Jessie in back-to-back posts on the Lower Macungie Patch Facebook page early Monday morning.

"Jessie came home! I just found her sleeping on our porch!" Corey Daniel Vilaplana wrote at about 3 a.m. on Monday.

Sheila Bridget Wilk-Vilaplana shared the following about an hour later:

"Jessie came back about an hour or two ago...we left the porch door open with some more food and she was sleeping on her bed. We went around front and closed the door. She is doing ok. Thank you everyone for your help!!!!!"

In a comment on a Patch story about Jessie, Wilk-Vilaplana offered her gratitude to her neighbors and The Sanctuary at Haafsville.

Wilk-Vilaplana asked for help in finding Jessie on the Lower Macungie Patch Facebook page on Saturday, soon after the newly adopted dog got loose.
