National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Mid-Atlantic Chapter Announces New Board of Governors

NATAS Mid-Atlantic announces board, including Lehigh County resident Gina Johnson

PHILADELPHIA (July 7, 2016) The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the election of new leaders to its Board of Governors. The Executive Committee officers, who were all elected last year, will continue to serve for a second one-year term.

The NATAS board consists of renowned media professionals from broadcast, public broadcasting & cable television that bring their expertise and education to their respective positions. The new members will help lead the organization toward successful advancement and promotion of the arts and sciences of television.

The following officers will serve a second term on the Executive Committee, 2016-2017:

Michelle Bradsher-McHugh, Associate Director of Paul F. Harron Graduate Program in Television Management Online, Drexel University; resides in Havertown

Courtney Brinkerhoff, Assistant Director of Communications, Episcopal Academy; resides in Berwyn

· Regional Vice President (Central)

Eric Heisler, Photojournalist, WHTM-TV abc27; resides in Harrisburg

· Regional Vice President (West)

Mike Oliveira, News Director, WPXI-TV; resides in Pittsburgh

· Treasurer

Jim DePury, News Director, WBRE-TV

· Secretary

Wanda Swanson, Executive Producer, Classroom Close-Up, New Jersey; resides in Riverton, NJ

The following individuals have been elected to serve on the Board of Governors for a two-year term, 2016-2018:

· Marie Cusick, StateImpact Pennsylvania Reporter for WITF in Pittsburgh; resides in Lancaster

· Stacey Hanrahan, Managing Editor for WHP CBS21; resides in Harrisburg

· Anne Linaberger, News Director for KDKA in Pittsburgh

· Jim McHugh, Photojournalist for CBS3 in Philadelphia; resides in Havertown

· Mynellies Negron, Content Producer for Telemundo 62 in Philadelphia

· Gina Johnson, Executive Producer, 69 News at Sunrise for WFMZ; resides in Allentown

The following individuals have been re-elected last year and will continue to serve on the Board of Governors for a second two-year term, 2016-2018:

· Eric Heisler, Senior Photojournalist for WHTM in Harrisburg

· Mike Ingalls, Managing Editor for NBC10 in Philadelphia

· Rob Kuestner, Eagles Content Producer for NBC10 in Philadelphia

· Alex Marcelewski, Digital Media Manager for WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh; resides in Murrysville

· Carrie Moniot, Student Media Advisor at Robert Morris University in Moon, PA
