Recently new signs have been erected on Spring Creek Road (SCR) in Lower Macungie Township. The section of Spring Creek Road, from Route 100 going North to Lower Macungie Road in east Texas, IS NOT an approved PA truck route. Therefore, trucks over 102" wide and/or 28' long are prohibited on this section of SCR.
Residents & concerned home owners please make note of any prohibited trucks that you might see on SCR. Please call the trucking company (for example I saw a FedEx truck a few days ago) and report the truck. If you can get the vehicle number, date and time that can also be helpful. If we (myself included of course) call these trucking companies and remind them of the restrictions and the fact that we are watching, we can make the restrictions stick.
