Monday 

Job Searching and Resume Basics, 11 a.m., Lower Macungie Township Library. Class will last approximately two hours. Cost is $5. Contact the library to check for availability and sign up.

Tuesday 

Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners Public Workshop, 7 p.m. This is the first of three public budget workshop meetings on the calendar. The remaining two are scheduled for Oct. 9 and 29. 

Wednesday

Lower Mac Library Book Club, 10:30 a.m., LMT Library
The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Lower Macungie Township Municipal building’s “ballroom.” Sign up at the circulation desk. 

Thursday

Macungie Farmers Market, 4 to 7 p.m. Macungie Memorial Park

Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners Meeting, 7 p.m. The commissioners meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7 p.m. in the municipal building

Friday 

Rock and Mineral Show - Macungie Memorial Park. The show runs Friday and Saturday. For more information call 610-966-4289
