Sanford Alderfer Companies CEO is Inducted into the PA Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - On January 16, 2016 Sanford (Sandy) L. Alderfer was inducted in the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame at the 2016 Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association Conference.

The Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association Conference is an annual event that brings the states’ top professional auction companies together. Induction into the PAA Hall of Fame recognizes those who have been an Auctioneer and PAA member for 25 years, held in high ethical and moral regard and participated and performed services that furthered the PAA and auction industry.

Sandy has been in the auction and real estate business since 1972 and currently serves as President/CEO of the Sanford Alderfer Companies. Sandy is a graduate of the Resich Auction College in 1973, the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) in 1985 and a Master Personal Property Appraiser (MPPA). He is active in various professional organizations, including the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association (PAA), National Auctioneers Association (NAA), National Auctioneers Foundation (NAF) and the Lehigh Valley Society of Auctioneers (LVSA). He was inducted into the NAA Hall of Fame in 2012, currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the NAF, served as President of the PAA and was honored as the Auctioneer of the Year in 2005. He is a member of the Montgomery County Association of Realtors (MCAR), Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR). Sandy is involved in numerous community organizations, including board member of Harleysville Savings Bank, Goodville Mutual Insurance, Spruce Lake Christian Retreat, Indian Creek Foundation and North Penn United Way. He is also a member of the Souderton/Telford Rotary.
