Burlington Township Resident Jillian Hudspeth Joins MHANJ Board of Trustees

Jillian Hudspeth, of Burlington Township, has recently been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Mental Health Association in New Jersey.

Ms. Hudspeth is the Director of Government and Community Affairs at JFK Health System. She is involved in a variety of projects including federal and state legislative initiatives and assisting in the development of new healthcare delivery systems.

Ms. Hudspeth’s previous positions include serving as the Deputy Executive Director for the New Jersey Senate Majority and as the Senior Public Policy Associate to the Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee. For almost a decade as a professional staffer, she helped draft key health care related legislation, led numerous public policy working groups, and was a public speaker on various federal and state healthcare and mental health initiatives.

Ms. Hudspeth has a Juris Doctor degree and has more than 20 years of experience in various legal and research positions in both the public and private sector, in California, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Hudspeth has also held various volunteer positions with a number of state and local organizations that promote educational opportunities and military family support and she has been a hospice volunteer.
