Giant Moving Its Feasterville Location

A store going in at 176 W. Street Road will replace the location on Bustleton Pike in Feasterville.

Giant supermarket chain is expanding its presence in Bucks County, which will include moving its Feasterville location to a new spot.

The company announced Tuesday it will be opening two new Bucks County stores to replace older locations. The Bucks County stores are among six new Giant stores opening in the region in the coming months.

The new Giant stores will be located in Doylestown and Feasterville.

A store going in at 1661 Easton Road, at the site of the former Redner's, will replace the location on York Road in Jamison. That location is expected to open in early 2019.

A store going in at 176 W. Street Road will replace the location on Bustleton Pike in Feasterville. That location is anticipated to open this summer.

"We are positioning the company for long-term growth," said Nicholas Bertram, company president, in a statement.

In addition to the two Bucks County, the other new Giant locations in Eastern Pennsylvania will include:

  • 2121 South Atherton St., State College will replace the store at 2222 East College Ave. (Anticipated opening late 2018/early 2019).
  • West Chester Pike & Rt. 476, Broomall, which replaces the store at 2910 Springfield Road (Anticipated opening late 2019).
  • 300 Lincoln Ave., East Stroudsburg (Anticipated opening 2019).
  • 300 Best Ave, Walnutport (Anticipated opening 2019).
