Live Burns to Highlight Lower Southampton's Annual Fire Prevention Day

The Lower Southampton Township Fire Department holds its annual Fire Prevention event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Neshaminy Activity Center on Brownsville Road in Trevose. 

Admission is free, and the day will be full of demonstrations including some live burns and a car accident prop. 

Learn how to put out a stove fire and about new types of smoke detectors. 

Fire Truck rides and goodie bags will be provided for the kids who can also meet Sparky the dog. Take your camera!
