Man Robbed Feasterville Salon With Knife: Police

Police in Lower Southampton have identified a 45-year-old man as their suspect in the case.

FEASTERVILLE, PA — Police in Lower Southampton are seeking a man they say robbed a Feasterville nail salon at knifepoint.

At about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, a man walked into Lemon Tree Nail Salon, at 1045 Bustleton Pike, and demanded that a woman working there give him money. While doing so, police say, he showed a large knife with a black handle and rested it on the counter.

The employee ran away and the man ran to his parked vehicle, a tan, 1997 Toyota Avalon with Pennsylvania registration LGL5004.

Lower Southampton Township Police have identified the suspect in the case as Dorian Lee Murphy, 45. They say Murphy may have intended to rob the nearby Hollywood Tans and that he may have committed other knifepoint robberies in Philadelphia.

Murphy is described as a white male, standing about 5'9" and weighing about 210 pounds, with hazel eyes and white hair. A bench warrant has been issued for his arrest on robbery charged, police said.
