Republican Patricia L. Bachtle, a five-term incumbent, has managed to once again secure the post of Prothonotary.
Despite not initially receiving the Bucks County GOP endorsement for its slate of row office candidates in March, Bachtle won by a nearly 10,000 votes over Democratic challenger Ronald Jay Smolow.
