Police Identify Suspect In Lower Southampton Shooting

A gunman fired into another vehicle at two different locations on Wednesday night, according to Lower Southampton Police.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Lower Southampton say they have identified a suspect in a Wednesday night shooting in which multiple shots were fired into a vehicle at two different locations.

Logan Dean Nicol, 20, is wanted on charges including aggravated assault and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, police said Friday.

According to Lower Southampton Township Police, the incident started at the entrance to the Eastern Dawn mobile home park on Brownsville Road. There, they say, the shooter they say was Nicol fired a handgun into another vehicle.

The victim and shooter then both drove along Brownsville Road toward Middletown Township and the Neshaminy Creek, where more shots were fired, police said. The shootings happened at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

On Friday morning, police updated a social media post seeking information in the case to say they had identified a suspect and are seeking that person. Friday afternoon, they named Nicol.
