Police Selling Off Office Equipment In Southampton

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Want to spend every day at a desk or in a chair used by the police? Your chance is coming up in Lower Southampton.

"Crime fighter office furniture" will be for sale at clearance prices at an upcoming sale at the police department in Feasterville. The Lower Southampton Police Department will hold the surplus sale on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The police department is located at 1500 Desire Ave. in Feasterville.

The sale will include chairs ($5), metal desks ($20), wooden desks ($40), filing cabinets ($10) and tables ($20). It will be cash only, you must have a vehicle to take anything you buy with you and all sales are final.

In the grand tradition of sales-folk through the ages, Lower Southampton Police say "no reasonable offer will be refused."
