Southampton Days, Fireworks, Set For July 4 Week

SOUTHAMPTON, PA — The 2019 Southampton Days Country Fair is set to kick off its 48th year with a July 4 week celebration that will include fireworks on Independence Day.

High points of the week long fair will be the Sam Constantini annual 4th of July Parade at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, and the annual fireworks display that night.

Southampton Days runs from July 1-6 at the community park at 1351 2nd St Pike, Southampton, PA 18966.

Attractions at the fair will include carnival rides, a petting zoo, free concerts, a family night, designer bag bingo and a whole lot more. The Lions 5K Run for Sight will be held on July 4 at 8 a.m.

Also on July 4, there will be a Baby Parade at 8:30 a.m., a flag-raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m., and a concert, behind Klinger Middle School, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks will be at the same location and are scheduled to begin at 9:35 p.m.

The fair is $3 on July 4 and free every other day. Special amusement-ride bands good for all week are available for $45 and can be purchased at the fair.
