Street Road Lanes In Southampton To Close Next Week

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Lanes on Street Road in Lower Southampton will be shut down starting next week as PECO crews do work in the area.

PECO Energy is planning the weekday closures for utility installations, PennDOT announced on Wednesday.

The lane closures will be on Street Road between Hoover Avenue and Eastview Avenue. They'll be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., starting Tuesday, July 9, and running through Friday, July 19.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area because backups and delays may occur, PennDOT said. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
