Township Library of Lower Southampton continues to open up

The Township Library continues to open up!

The Township Library of Lower Southampton has moved to step 4 of our re-opening plan (in case you’re counting)! We welcome all to come in and browse the collection. Great news for the curious, the binge watcher and anyone not exactly sure what will suit their mood.

Please note: we are trying to keep the library open when coronavirus cases are still on the rise and some venues have already had to scale back their re-openings. We still expect everyone to practice safe habits as per CDC guidelines and the Governor’s mask wearing mandate. Wash your hands as you come in, wear your mask, respect social distancing and our capacity limit. While we love having you back, we encourage you to keep your library visit brief - and safe.

What’s new at the library?

· Browsing starts NOW! (the children’s area is not quite ready)

· Museum passes check out for 7 days - consult the venue’s website for pertinent information

· August 1 due date - everything checked out prior to March 13 became due August 1 - which is right around the corner. Please return everything to the outside book returns.

· Quarantine time for library materials is extended to 96 hours as per recent findings. Your returns remain on your account for up to 5 days. Don’t worry - no fines will accrue.

· Library hours and times for curbside pick-up remain the same.

For those not comfortable coming into the building, we still have curbside pick-up, virtual programs and plenty of e-resources for you to discover, explore and enjoy. We thank everyone for their support and patience with the library’s re-opening plans.
