Trash-Bag Bandit Robs Bucks Co. Store
The robber had white, vanilla-smelling trash bags wrapped around his head, waist, legs and feet, according to police.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — When health officials tell us to mask up, this isn't what they're talking about.
A man wearing sunglasses and a trash bag over his head robbed a Bucks County convenience store early Friday morning. Photos shared by police in Lower Southampton Township show the man with white trash bags also wrapped around his waist and legs and they say he had trash bags over his shoes.
The trash bags were vanilla-scented, according to police.

Police say the oddly disguised man walked into the Sunoco station in Feasterville-Trevose in the early-morning hours on Friday. He forced a clerk into the restroom and demanded cigarettes and cash, they say.
The man then left the store and was seen running east on Street Road toward Philmont Avenue.

The robber is described as standing 5'8" or 5'9" with a large build. In addition to the black glasses and bags, he was wearing a gray face mask, gray gloves and an olive green winter coat.
Anyone who recognizes the man beneath the bags is asked to call police at 215-357-1235.
