There are many obvious perks to living in Willistown and East Whiteland townships. To enjoy them, you'll pay a hefty price.
Willistown is now the region's 30th most expensive place to purchase a home, and East Whiteland is the area's 46th priciest. That's according to an analysis by Philadelphia Magazine, which lists the Philadelphia region's 50 most expensive neighborhoods for home purchases.

The average home purchase price in Willistown in 2018 was $561,779 — up 2 percent from the year before. Additionally, East Whiteland's average home purchase price was $485,101, which is down one percent from the previous year.
Villanova, where last year's average purchase price was $1,125,280, was named the area's most expensive.

Several other communities in the area are among the 50 most expensive places in the Philadelphia region, including Easttown Township (7th), Radnor (8th), Newlin Township (10th), and Charlestown Township (17th).
