1975 Cold Case Becomes Homicide Investigation: Report
Authorities are again searching the area where Wendy Eaton went missing 46 years ago, NBC 10 Philadelphia reports.

MEDIA, PA — Authorities in Pennsylvania are once again investigating the case of Wendy Eaton, a Media teenager who went missing on May 17, 1975.
The longtime cold case, however, is now being treated as a homicide, Pennsylvania State Trooper Andrew Martin told NBC 10 Philadelphia. Authorities are searching the wooded area where they believe Eaton disappeared.
According to The Charley Project, which inventories cold cases from across the United States, Eaton’s family left the home to play golf at a local country club on the day of her disappearance, but the teenager stayed behind to sunbathe.

According to the NBC 10 report, police are now searching the woods behind a home near that intersection.
