4 Delco High Schools Ranked Among Philly Area's Best Schools

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A few Delaware County high school are among the top-rated public high schools in Philadelphia and its suburbs, according to a new ranking released this week by Philadelphia Magazine.

In Delaware County, Haverford, Garnet Valley, Radnor, and Strath Haven high schools made the list.

The magazine used data from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education and the National Center for Education Statistics to compile the 40 Top-Rated Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs.

Factors such as enrollment, student-teacher ratio, SAT scores, and students who go on to attend college were considered.
