Actor From Media Area Featured In Irving Berlin's "Holiday Inn"

Owen Pelesh performs his way through the year's favorite holidays in the Walnut's production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn

An actor from Media, Owen Pelesh, is currently performing on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn - playing now through October 21.

Broadway veteran Jim leaves the bright lights of show business for the quiet of a country farm. But life just isn’t the same without song and dance, so Jim turns his farmhouse into a fabulous inn with dazzling performances to celebrate each holiday, from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July. But can Jim also work the same magic on his love life? Based on the classic film, Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn features a parade of hit Berlin standards, including "Blue Skies," "Easter Parade," "White Christmas," "Steppin’ Out With My Baby," "Heat Wave," "Cheek to Cheek," and many more, along with laugh-out-loud comedy and thrilling dance numbers, all wrapped in a heartwarming story.

Owen Pelesh is a Temple University graduate with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. He is returning for his 9th production at The Walnut Street Theatre in the 10 years since his Walnut debut. In this production, Owen can be seen as an actor, dancer, and pianist as he is part of the three-piece on-stage accompanying band. Performing has become second-nature to Owen since he began piano and dance lessons at the age of 6. Later, he took the stage at the young age of 13.

See the talented Owen Pelesh and the cast of Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn perform classic songs from the iconic Irving Berlin canon now on the Walnut Street Theatre Stage.
