Delco Residents Can Trash Hazardous Waste Oct. 7
Head to the Emergency Services Training Center in Sharon Hill Saturday to get rid of you hazardous household materials.

Delaware County residents looking to get rid of hazardous materials have a chance to do so on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center in Sharon Hill is hosting a Hazardous Household Waste collection event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The collection event is open to county residents only. Businesses, industry, or institutions are not permitted to use the services.

Items/materials accepted are:
- oil-based paint
- oil-based sealants
- paint thinner
- gasoline
- kerosine
- gas/oil mixtures
- heating/motor oil
- lead acid batteries
- rechargeable batteries
- lithium batteries
- button batteries
- nickle-cadmium batteries
- pool cleaners
- rust/paint remover
- antifreeze
- lawn chemicals
- cleaners/solvents
- mercury thermostats and thermometers
- fluorescent tubes
Items/materials not accepted are:
