A worker at the ShopRite in Glenolden has tested positive for the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19, according to reports.
GLENOLDEN, PA — A grocery store employee in Delaware County has tested positive for the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19, according to reports.
A Fox 29 report says an employee at the ShopRite in Glenolden Borough has tested positive for the virus.
Action News reports the employee was last working on March 17.

It's unclear what section of the store the employee worked in.
Fox reports workers who may have been in close contact with the infected employee will self-quarantine for two weeks.

"ShopRite is prepared and we have implemented the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended protocol to reduce the spread of the virus," ShopRite said in a press release. "The store will remain open and continue to follow all necessary guidelines as recommended by the CDC."
As of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Delaware County has 64 cases of the virus.
